Dual Port Dual Rate 10/1 Gbit/s LAN Controller
SFP+ for optical transceiver modules or Twinax cable. PCIe 3.0 x 8 card with low profile and full height bezel.
The 10GbE adapter requires a x8 PCIe slot.
The controller supports the following SFP+ module for optical connections:
– 10/1Gbit/s Dual Rate Multi Mode Fiber / Short Range SFP+ Module (S26361-F3986-L5)
– 10/1Gbit/s Dual Rate Single Mode Fiber / Long Range SFP+ Module (S26361-F3986-L6)
– 10Gbit/s Multi Mode Fiber / Short Rang SFP+ Modul (S26361-F3986-L3)
– 10Gbit/s Single Mode Fiber / Long Range SFP+ Modul (S26361-F3986-L4)
For connections with SFP+ twinax cables the guidlines from the switch vendor must be considered. The controller supports the cables from the major switch vendors.
The cable assistant of the SystemArchitect requires the virtual ordercode V:TWX CONNECTOR-PY.
